Portrait shoot with Zeiss ZF

My entire photo blog were mostly taken with my OMD-EM5 and with the Oly 45mm 1.8, Pany25mm 1.4 and Oly 75mm 1.8. There's no question about the image quality it produces, I just love it. This time around I grabbed my 6D, for a full frame quality. You still can't beat it especially with amazing fast lenses.

I've been wanting to get an 85mm lens for the full frame. Been keeping an eye on Canon 85mm 1.2 II but just damn too expensive. There are few alternatives and thought about the Zeiss 85mm 1.4. So contacted my friend Marcus and borrowed it from Digital Logic. The lens they have is a Nikon mount with a Canon adaptor and also modified for video use. When attached, it was kinda loose so made it a bit tricky to focus. A great challenge to use a manual focus lens but once you get the hang of it can be very rewarding.

The colour, image quality and bokeh is just amazing. When focusing, just trusted my eye and probably had a 75% hit. With plenty of practice, this will be a perfect lens for portrait. I will miss this this lens when I return this back.
